Take a look Behind the Scenes (   • Catching the A380 (a Pilotdynan Produ...  ) • Follow me on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/PilotDynan-H...) • Subscribe for a new video every 3rd week • I've seen quite a few Airbus Vs Boeing videos so I decided to make my own. • Now take you're pick! ;) and I hope you'll like the video = ) • Of coarse don't forget to guess the sound at the end ;) I'll be giving away a price to the 3 best aircraft sound guessers at the end of 2013. It'll be a spotting DVD or something like that. Good Luck everybody!!! • • Airbus A380 • The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet airliner. It is the world's largest passenger airliner. Initially named Airbus A3XX, Airbus designed the aircraft to challenge Boeing's monopoly in the large-aircraft market. • The A380 made its first flight on 27 April 2005 and began commercial service in October 2007 with Singapore Airlines. • The A380's upper deck extends along the entire length of the fuselage, with a width equivalent to a wide-body aircraft. With 49% more floor space than the the Boeing 747-8, the cabin provides seating for 525 people in a typical three-class configuration or up to 853 people in all-economy class configurations. • The A380-800 has a design range of 15,700 kilometers, sufficient to fly from New York to Hong Kong, and a cruising speed of about 900 km/h • As of July 2013, Airbus has received 262 firm orders and delivered 106 aircraft. • Emirates has ordered the most A380s with 90. • • Boeing 747 • The Boeing 747 is a wide-body commercial airliner, often referred to by its original nickname, Jumbo Jet, or Queen of the Skies. • It is among the world's most recognizable aircraft and was the first wide-body ever produced. • The four-engine 747 uses a double deck configuration for part of its length. • Boeing designed the 747's hump-like upper deck to serve as a first class lounge or extra seating, and to allow the aircraft to be easily converted to a cargo carrier by removing seats and installing a front cargo door. Boeing did so because the company expected supersonic airliners to render the 747, while the demand for subsonic cargo aircrafts would be robust well into the future. • The 747-400, the most common passenger version in service, made it's first flight on the 29th of April 1988 and it's among the fastest airliners in service with a high-subsonic cruise speed of Mach 0.85. It has an intercontinental range of 14.200km. • The 747-400 passenger version can accommodate 416 passengers in a typical three-class layout, or 660 passengers in a high density one-class configuration. • Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_A380 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_747 • • Camera Gear: • Camera: Panasonic AG-AC160 • Tripod: Manfrotto 546B with a 504HD head • I had a faulty camera setting while I was at Manchester and I didn't realize it until I was back home :-\\ I've solved the camera problem now but the footage from Manchester is going to look like this :-\\ I've decided to upload it anyway, so I hope you're able to enjoy the video although it's a bit bluish! • Thanks For Watching! = )
