The story is adapted from the renowned Hong Kong writer Yi Shu's novel of the same name. • The 4K restoration, self-funded by Far-Sun Film Co Ltd, highlights Yonfan's meticulous pursuit of aesthetics. Thanks to the trust and support from Far-Sun, the Hong Kong Film Archive (HKFA) has been authorised to present the world premiere of their 4K digitally restored version of Last Romance on 8 Sep 2024 at the Grand Theatre of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre (HKCC).
