Here is our trip report of hiking up to CARNARVON LAKE as well as Mt. Strachan which sees not too many people. • The chain section to get up to the lake is a blast and the lake is one-of-a-kind. Too bad our day was so windy. The back of the lake is at Alberta/BC border. We biked in which substantially shortened the day as we could bike in roughly 5.5kms. Highly recommended even if you're just headed to the lake. The rock up Strachan is not very nice. Lack of a trail and very sharp rock.
