Cranial Suture Rubbing: • Massaging cranial sutures is something you can do at home! Infants dealing with torticollis can often develop plagiocephaly (flat spots) on the head. By rubbing these sutures in between the cranial bones we can help break up any restrictive adhesions preventing the head from rounding out in shape. • On each of these sutures you can gently rub/massage to address any adhesions. • 1. Front suture: just past the hairline • 2. Side sutures: from front to back of ear • 3 Back suture: half moon across the base/back of the skull. • 4. Top: verticals suture runs on top of the head, from the front suture to the back suture. • • CHIRO FOR MOMS + CHIRO FOR KIDZ specializes in chiropractic care for women and children.
