How to Treat a Bloated Calf

This is a first for us but apparently very common! We have a calf that got really bloated. We inserted a hose down his throat to his stomach to let the trapped gas out! Boy did it stink!! When it was finished we put 3 bottles of mineral oil down him to help finish cleaning him out and gave him a shot of LA200 to help with the bacteria in his gut. We turned him and his Mom out on just grass for several days and kept an eye on him.
