He, however, refuses to fight with other ladybirds as they are not “big” enough to be his opponents. He continues his journey in search of bigger animals and eventually meets the big mighty whale. When the whale slaps him away he realises his folly and understands the value of sharing. The story introduces many important concepts to children such as sequencing based on size, time, and avariety of exotic animals. The story, narrated by our Tejasvita teacher Lakshmi Prashanth, has grand, impactful props ,in Eric Carle style made by our Tejasvita teacher Savitha Rajesh. The story video includes a foot tapping “Tick Tock” song and a fun activity where children get to do their very own wind chime. • • Sequencing is an important concept which needs to be developed in preschool children.
