Democratic President Barack Obama Republican candidate Governor Mitt Romney discuss equality in the workplace, women's rights, the gender wage gap during the second 2012 Presidential Debate. • The 2nd presidential debate was hosted by Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York moderated by CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley. The debate was a town hall format covering issues including foreign policy domestic policy. • Transcript Of President Obama's Response: • OBAMA: The first bill I signed was something called the Lily Ledbetter bill. And it's named after this amazing woman who had been doing the same job as a man for years, found out that she was getting paid less, the Supreme Court said that she couldn't bring suit because she should have found about it earlier, whereas she had no way of finding out about it. So we fixed that. And that's an example of the kind of advocacy that we need, because women are increasingly the breadwinners in the family. This is not just a women's issue. This is a family issue, this is a middle class issue, that's why we've got to fight for it. • __________ • 2012 ELECTION COVERAGE from Ora TV with Larry King: / oratv http://ora.tv • WATCH Larry King special guests LIVE on YouTube Ora TV: http://www.ora.tv/ora2012 • SUBSCRIBE to Ora TV's YouTube Channel for LIVE Election Coverage: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c... • FACEBOOK: / oratv • TWITTER: / oratv / orapolitics • Use #Ora2012 to interact with us on Twitter • CHECK OUT Larry's daily show, Larry King Now, on Hulu: http://www.hulu.com/larry-king-now • Comment ask Larry questions on Twitter: / kingsthings
