After a few visits to Waipio Lookout in the past we decided to finally hike down to the valley. The steep road is challenging but the walk is rewarded with beautiful views of waterfalls you can't see from the lookout. Walk down is harder then going back up but I think you appreciate it more time spent there. It is somehow magical place with wild horses, 1000 ft waterfalls, cliffs and black sand beach.
