The ultrasonic tip is screwed onto the rinse adapter which is then placed onto the injector bar. The ultrasonic tip is then subjected to a washing and disinfection program during which it is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with high water pressure. • 8. Instruments that are classed as critical are then carefully dried and sterilized in an autoclave.
