Obstruction removal at the ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) through holmium laser. Surgeon do endopyelotomy by retrograde approach, or antegrade approach. The retrograde technique uses an ureteroscope, while the antegrade technique uses fluoroscopy. Surgeon can see direct through retrograde endo-pyelotomy, a uretero-scope to the ureter, and can do holmium laser surgery to incise the strictures which narrow or obstruct the ureteral segment by Holmium Laser. Mostly patients are discharged in a day with postoperatively with oral antibiotics. In follow up stent removal done within 8 weeks. Holmium laser Endopyelotomy is intended for patients with uncomplicated, primary UPJO for the patients appropriate candidates or who have failed, open or laparoscopic pyeloplasty.
