The Walla Walla Balloon Stampede takes place Oct 19th - Oct 23rd, 2022. The Walla Walla Balloon Stampede brings together 30+ hot air balloons from across the Northwest for an incredible 5 days of hot air ballooning. People always ask us how they can book a hot air balloon ride to fly during the week of the Walla Walla Hot Air Balloon Festival. Although Seattle Ballooning isn't officially part of the festival, we share the airspace with the festival. Instead of launching our balloons from Howard Tietan field, we launch from the wineries just South of town and join the other 30 balloons in flight. Hot air balloon rides during the week of the Walla Walla Balloon Stampede are very limited as we only take 24 passengers per flight between our 3 balloons.
