Holland America Eurodam Tour Deck by Deck amp Entertainment 4K

Take a tour of a Holland America signature class cruise ship, the MS Eurodam, in 4K UHD. See the interiors (and the outside) of the beautiful ship from our cruise vlog. Also see what entertainment to expect on board as well, including sample activities schedule (When Where), plus food menus. Peek inside and see what the balcony stateroom on board look like as well. • We boarded the ship on Deck 2, Lower Promenade Deck, in Fort Lauderdale. Check in was quick and easy as you can see in the video. Also on deck 2 much of the Eurodam's entertainment takes place at venues such as the BB King's Blue's Club/America's Test Kitchen, Lincoln Center Stage for live classical music, the ship's Casino, and more live tunes from Billboard Onboard. The specialty restaurant Pinnacle Grill is also located on this level, as is the Main Dining Room. You can access the middle part the Mainstage (the ship's theater) here as well. Also here is the funky Gallery Bar, which contained some of the most interesting/bizarre/delightful art we have seen any cruise ship. • Directly below is deck 1 (Main Deck) where the Guest Services desk is located, as well customer service areas for booking tours future cruises. When we were there it was near Christmas so there were plenty of holiday decor at the atrium area which was cool to see. • Deck 3 is the Promenade deck where you can walk all around the ship on the outside, a nice feature that is becoming increasingly rare on newer cruise ships. Here you can also do some shopping, watch shows from the upper level of the theatre, or even watch newer release move at the Screening Room. • Deck 4 to 8 are pretty much all cabins. Deck 9 is the Lido Deck where the main pool, the Lido Pool, is located. You can also utilize the gym or the spa here. The Eurodam's buffet restaurant, the Lido Market, is also here, as is New York Pizza the Sea View Pool at the back of the ship. • Going up one level to Deck 10 (Panorama Deck), you can also walk around the ship on the outside, just not all the way to the front. The kid's area, Club HAL, is here, as is The Loft for teens. There is a nice sun deck near the back. • Deck 11 is the Observation Deck. Aptly named as you can get a great view from the front of the ship at the Crow's Nest lounge. Adjacent to it is the Exploration's Cafe where you can get some premium coffee while reading a book or play board games. Located on this deck is also An exclusive quiet hangout area for guests with passes is The Retreat. The excellent specialty restaurant Tamarind serves some nice Asian cuisine here as well. The Sports/Basketball court is also located here. Apparently you can play tennis here as well at times. • Entertainment-wise, the Eurodam Singers Dancers were pretty good. The live music at BB King's Lincoln Sound Stage were very nice. Holland America even had a Mariachi band performing on the Lido Deck while the ship was docked in Cozumel. The food- excellent, though we wished that the dinner buffet was open until later (closes at 8:30 PM). Wrapping up the review, we'd give the ship a 4/5 stars- we really enjoyed it. It could well achieve a 4.5 by having longer buffet hours if the staff brought you drinks at the buffet like Princess Cruises. • Pros Cons of HAL Eurodam: • pros • ==== • -excellent buffet lunch • -excellent service at buffet (wait staff will bring your drinks) and mdr • -excellent mdr dinner • -excellent asian food during lunch • cons • ==== • -breakfast ends at 10 • -issue prevents account registration for services such as internet • -antiquated internet package pricing • -for guests planning on sleeping in, loud hallway announcements can wake you up as early as 8 AM • This was from our December 2017 cruise on the HAL Eurodam to the Western Caribbean.
