I paint large formats on canvas, based on projects and I sometimes transpose into large format what I have done in small format by slightly modifying a color, a texture, a trace or a splash. • But for this painting, I was almost finished with the project and I realized that I did not feel any emotion. • I kept the 2 main colors and completely changed direction! • That's what I'd like to show with this video, which is a little longer than the others. • I usually work between 3 and 4 weeks on a canvas, for the video, I keep the important gestures and the essential steps of the process, which can give an impression of ease and speed! • I don't paint using a system or a trick, I paint by constantly questioning the colors and composition.
