I dissected a dead stink bug I found in the corner of the room. The exoskeleton was extremely tough, making the dissection difficult and causing the steel pins to bend. I found a red sac-like structure (4:40) that seemed like a scent gland in the thorax, but the fragility of the dead tissue made it hard to be certain about their nature.
