These chain mail samples feature curved hexagonal links that are stronger and less “floppy” than other 3D printed designs. This pattern would not be suitable for wearable designs but could potentially be used for designs that require stiffer, more “shape-holding” textiles. • Download 3D files: https://than.gs/m/1001753 • Download includes samples with 3mm and 4mm diameter links. • “Supported” files come with customized, built in supports. These supports take a bit more effort to remove during post-processing but will result in a more successful print with smoother contours on the bottom of each link.
