Changing engine oil with an Oil Extractor

So, I thought I'll make it easy on myself and get an oil extractor to change the oil my my 2003 Ford E150 work van. Watch and find out if it is actually easier to use it. • In the meanwhile I changed the oil on all my cars. No way I'm going back to changing oil by removing the drain plug. Ever! I checked on every vehicle after the first extraction how much oil is left in the pan. Nothing, Nada. Completely drained sucking it out from the top. • On the Mercedes, the oil volume is larger than this extractor can handle. It's ok to pause, empty and continue the extraction. If you have a vehicle with a high oil volume like the 8.5 liters on the Mercedes S500, I recommend having always an extra empty bottle of oil. The additional cost for a little larger unit is not justifiable. (Unless you can find a deal). • Mityvac 07400 Oil Extractor: https://amzn.to/2JTqwcs • ________________________________________________________ • Update: After several uses, this thing works perfect.
