The distal radioulnar joint or DRUJ compression test is used to evaluate multiple wrist conditions including osteoarthritis, DRUJ dislocation and ulnar impingement syndrome among others. With the forearm in neutral, the examiner applies compression to the ulna against the radius looking for instability, tenderness, crepitus, swelling.
