This is the second of several interactive dance exchanges taught by Gloria McLean, acclaimed interpreter of Eric Hawkins' choreography. • These demonstrations originated in the New York City studios of gus solomons jr; the actual sessions occurred in SUNY Brockport and THE PERFORMANCE LAB™ studios in downtown Minneapolis, MN. • The entire series of interactive lessons can be seen here: http://theperformancelab.org/section_.... • The sessions are quite complex and require study in detail, repetition of each lessons in order to master the elements of the movement. • At the end of the sessions, Gloria McLean reviews what was taught with elementary school students from the Twin Cities, coached by Diane Aldis of Perpich Center for Arts Education.
