Accretion disk and binary star Nbody simulation

An accretion disk orbiting a star is disturbed by a less massive companion star. • I let the simulation run for 90 days to see what structure will the particles eventually settle into. • The disk is assumed to be much ligher than either of the stars and is simulated as non-interacting test particles. This allows to run the simulation much faster; despite the long duration it only took about an hour on my PC, including the render. • Computed with SpaceSim • https://pavelsevecek.github.io • Join the Discord server: / discord • Support my work on / pavelsevecek • Music by Zakhar Valaha: https://pixabay.com/music/main-title-...
