I take a few leaves, rub them together to get the little hairs off, (sometimes wet them) and wrap them around the swollen area. • Because it reduces swelling, a lot of people use it to treat the pain and swelling of arthritis. • Don't take this herb by mouth. • It can also be used to make a spray (crushed leaves added to hot water) to prevent powdery mildew. This same spray repels flies and cabbage worm moths, BUT it attracts slugs. • • I'm not trying to build a channel. Growing as a channel is nice and all, but I want to build a community. A community isn't just me. Or just people who look like me. Or vote like me. We become family. We become helpers one to another.
