Most of NA's greatest mid laners are imports, but some of the other legendary LoL players came from right at home. These are the five greatest homegrown NA mid laners in LoL history! • Shot Callers eSports brings you news, previews, interviews and highlights for eSports like League of Legends and Overwatch, top leagues like NA, EU, LCK and Overwatch League, and the world's best teams. • SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/c/ShotCallers... • FACEBOOK:   / shotcallersesports   • TWITTER:   / _scesports   • All League of Legends footage courtesy of Riot Games. • #5: bigfatjiji/bigfatlp. Playing since the League of Legends beta, Bigfatlp, or Bigfatjiji, joined Counter Logic Gaming in 2010. He didn't rely on crazy aggression but was rather a passive and thought-out player. With Twisted Fate as one of his top champs, he pioneered CLG's mid lane and remained there for two and a half years. In the early days, many considered him as one of the best players in the world and an early innovator in the scene. He was eventually replaced by another NA mid laner in Link. •   • #4: Reginald. The owner of Team SoloMid was also at one point their mid laner. Aside from the Blue card memes that came with his Twisted Fate, Regi was renowned for his aggressive style. As later seasons rolled around, Regi adjusted to a move passive playstyle revolving around Karthus and Gragas. He was often criticized for his mid lane performance but was the glue that held TSM together in their early competitive years. •   • #3: Nyjacky. No one in NA was better on Morgana mid than Nyjacky. After turning down an offer to be TSM's top laner, Nyjacky accepted a spot with unRestricted, which was then acquired by Curse. One of North America's early staple teams, Nyjacky held down the mid-lane, bringing with it a unique champion pool which included his patented Veigar. With Nyjacky, Curse showed off their consistent ability to finish fourth. After a nearly 3 year void from LCS, in February, rumours swirled that Nyjacky would join Team Liquid as the starting mid laner. • #2: Scarra. Utilizing unconventional picks like his coveted Katarina, Scarra made a lot of noise and by season two, Rock Solid was picked up by Dignitas. Although they struggled to take down top NA teams such as TSM, with Scarra they made the Season 2 World Championships before falling just short in season 3. He wasn't just a a Katarina legend. He helped bring forward AP Soraka mid and another personal favourite in Diana. Not only that, but he formerly held the record for most kills in an LCS match with 19 on AP Master Yi. • #1: Hai. The only mid laner on this list that’s still playing is one of the best shotcallers to ever play the game. He didn't go competitive until 2012 but once he qualified for the LCS, his impact was immediate. • The anchor of Cloud 9 led his team to consecutive NA LCS championships over TSM. His legend continues in his ability to help pull off reverse sweeps. As a jungler, In the 2015 Summer Split, C9 came back from down 0-2 against Gravity and Impulse before punching their ticket to Worlds. Despite a debilitating wrist injury and multiple retirements, Hai continues to impress as the mid laner of FlyQuest.
