Solon man accused of killing his dad

A 32-year-old Solon man is in custody and has been charged with killing his father. • • According to a release from the Solon Police Department, the incident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers were called to a home in the 34000 block of Sherwood Drive at around 10:45 a.m. for a report of a man not breathing. • • When police arrived, they found 65-year-old Theodore Gullia dead. He had severe visible injuries to his head and other areas, according to Lt. Bill Vajdich of the Solon Police Department. • • Three other family members were at the scene when police arrived. Officers say Gullia's wife found his body and called 911. • • Through its investgation, police discovered that one of Theodore Gullia's sons, 32-year-old Robert J. Gullia, had spent the previous night home alone with his father.
