A Day at Roatan Honduras on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas

Welcome to Roatan Honduras and thank you for joining us. In this video, we had an excursion on Roatan to a resort named Sol y Mar. This excursion included all-you-can-drink alcohol, a snack, and a Buffett lunch (both all-you-can-eat). We arrived at the beach at around 8 am local time (10 am) ship time. So the sun was pretty much just coming up. We were lucky enough to be on the first excursion there so we got lounge chairs directly on the beach and could watch the day pass by. I wanted to go into the cool Caribbean Sea but I noticed I was getting bit pretty badly by sand fleas. Fortunately, we had some off so I stopped many more bites but I was pretty bit up. Both the lunch and snack Buffetts were good. It was comparable to the food on the ship and Windjammers. We got to see a little bit of Honduras and our tour guide talked a lot about the culture and how the people of Honduras live. I love visiting new places and just listening and learning.
