He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11 • While beautiful, this verse can also be difficult to understand. When we look around the world we probably wouldn’t describe it as “beautiful.” Even in our own lives we consistently face trials and hardships. We long for the promise of Ecclesiastes 3:11 but it often feels out of reach. • But we are limited in our view of what’s happening. This verse points us to God’s perfect timing and challenges us to view our seasons of life differently. It’s easy in the business of life to forget that God is working things out in ways we cannot understand.
