Catherine Hamilton, artist and birdwatcher from California, just admitted that she is now a full-time user of the new ZEISS SFLs. Please see her impression after using if first and read more on what she is thinking now: • 1. the ZEISS concept of UHD (Ultra-high Definition) is slamming. What does that mean to me, a genuine real-life color expert? Bright, crystal clear images with true color. I just want to crawl in and live there, magnified. Incredible light transmission. And at this price point? Fantastic. • 2. Close focus! An essential for any true birder/naturalist in any case, but these are amazingly close (think about effortlessly switching from a far away bird to a butterfly that has landed on your foot). As a side note: the SFL's have a very fast focusing wheel, which drives along the lines of tight steering in sports cars. I'm on board for this. • 3. And oh my word it is featherweight! Incredible. Travelers and birders who know me and who know how long field days can be will especially appreciate this. The laws of physics have been put to the test in balancing premium image quality with astonishing ergonomic friendliness. I forget to take them off! • Thank you, Catherine!
