No! The adhesive on our tiles is very strong and very high quality. In fact, if you use additional adhesive, you will VOID THE WARRANTY! • Not all adhesives are made with the same chemicals. One adhesive can actually counteract another adhesive rendering it useless. • This tile is made to work right out of the box with no help of additional glue. If you are hiring a professional installer who insists upon using extra adhesive, INSIST against it. In fact, don't hire an installer!...because you can do it yourself! • If you're concerned about adhesion, there is a primer we recommend called HENRY'S BOND ENHANCER. This is a liquid you can apply to wood or concrete which ensures a good, strong bond.
