History of Myanmar/Burma: • The massacre of Minguri's Bannermen shocked the Qing Court but more importantly imperial prestige had been deeply damaged. Desperate Still Konbaung Burma was forged through war and the Qing Armies had an old enemy waiting for them. The Sino-Burmese War between the Qing Dynasty of China and the Konbaung Dynasty of Burma is one of the most crucial conflicts in the history of Southeast Asia. It was the clash of two formidable military powers in the region.
