Minibike Restoration How to Mount PREDATOR engine PART 1

In part 1, I show you how I make accurate slots to mount a predator 212cc engine on a Doodlebug minibike. I also show how to fit the engine properly. • How to make cardboard cutout: • Rectangle is 8 1/2 x 5 • Make 1 marks inside rectangle's sides all the way around • Measure mark 6 7/16 lines along the 1 marks length side • Measure mark 3 1/16 lines along the 1 marks width sides • Mark other length side 6 7/16 • From each corner you marked, cut out 5/16 thick lines for 3/4 length-wise on each side of corners (1 1/2 slots) • Mounting hardware: • 5/16 x 1 1/2 coarse thread hex bolts x4 • 5/16 lock washers x4 • 5/16 regular washers x4 • 5/16 serrated lock nuts x4 • Order from top to under mount: • nut, engine mount plate, washer, lock washer, bolt. • For PART 2: • Minibike Restoration | FULL PAINT PRO... • . • Subscribe here: / @blakesbuilds • . • Follow my Instagram: / blakes_builds • . • . • #minibike #predator212 #blakesbuilds
