Sometimes publications leave out the hyphen so you may have searched for the Martin Logan ESLC. NOTE: We rehearsed for about 2 minutes on this so please be kind! • This thing is kind of wacky as it doesn't exactly match Martin Logan's tower speaker offerings. It has properties of their standard Motion series (conventional box type) speakers and other properties of their Electrostatic line. We said what the heck..it's only money right? and ordered one up to audition it. • We are very familiar with the Martin Logan Motion50 center channel as we've had it as one of our demos for a few years. The ESL-C provided greater detail and fine information and was a step-up in sound quality in our opinion. • We aren't big on specifications as we are always fans of go with what you hear...not what the specs tell you . However, the details are: • 1 X 1.4 Folded Motion tweeter • 114 sq. inch electrostatic panel • 2 X 5.25 highly-rigid, high excursion aluminum woofers • 32 pounds • 7.6 H X 22.8 W X 16.1 D • We think this is a great match for any of the Motion series of speakers.
