Lawn mowing tip: Want healthier, thicker bermuda lawn? Stop growing it out so long. Mow it short and often. Cool season grasses do well at longer heights, but the optimal length for Bermuda grass is between 1/2”-1.5” depending on the variety. Lots of people who grew KGB once, try to grow their bermuda out to 5-6” and then wonder why it looks horrible when they mow it back down. Bermuda thrives at short heights.
