Do you NEED a REAL pedal with your HELIX or HX STOMP

Perhaps they're onto something, or perhaps it was marketing, but what if a bit of real analog circuit in front of your Helix or HX Stomp could make a difference? Worth a try I guess. Since I'm not sure if I have any FET pedals, I tried with an Ibanez TS10 and a Jetter Monster, and I think the results are pretty cool.
