This video demonstrates how to use crocheted slip stitch to stabilize the neck and/or shoulders of a sweater. This technique can be used if sweater construction was seamless, or not sufficiently stable. It requires no ripping out of your knitting, and can itself be removed and re-done if it's not quite right on the first try. • Support me by buying me a coffee on Ko-Fi! https://www.ko-fi.com/roxannerichardson • To jump to a specific point in the video, click on the adjacent time-stamped link: • Introduction 0:00 • Explanation/demonstration of a sweater with too much stretch at the neck and shoulders: 0:17 • Solution (crocheted slip stitch): 2:40 • Real-life example (raglan sweater): 6:21 • Final results: 8:00 • Ravelry Group *Rox Rocks*: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/rox-rocks • Facebook: / roxknits • Twitter: / roxmpls
