171 Anko Professional Gaming Microphone more than just gaming

In this episode, we look at the Anko Professional Gaming Microphone with boom, windsock, shock mounting and pop filter • This really is a great Mic (for the price, especially) and I took a bit of a risk and recorded this episode using it, and to say the least, I was really happy. The sound was clear and the silences were silent. • I think the problem with my existing TacStar mic is not the mic itself but the fact that it is plugged into the camera. This is really convenient as it then records with the video, but I remember reading somewhere that the mic input on the Canon (or Maybe just the D550) was quite noisy. • It's certainly causing me to rethink my audio setup. I'll definitely use this mic for streaming, but I'm not sure if it will be part of my standard recording rig.
