Get these no-bleach highlights in a gorgeous, melted pecan shade using Koleston Perfect Special Blonde. Follow this tutorial by @christelbarronhough to recreate this tastefully natural balayage without the use of bleach, with controlled lightening and toning in one step for a perfect summer glow. • Step 1: Section the hair into four to separate the face-framing layers from the back of the hair. • Step 2: Working on one section first, use a freehand painting technique to saturate small sections of hair that you want to highlight, increasing saturation on the ends. Isolate using foils for control and work in horizontal sections away from the roots, blending each section with your fingers for a soft transition. As you move closer to the crown, alternate with textured waves. • Step 3: Use the same freehand technique to paint highlights around the face using finer weaves.
