FALL OPENWATER CRAPPIE FISHING

Today on Too Fat To Hunt Outdoors, I am out on the Mississippi River with my good buddy Mike, who you may have saw in a few ice fishing shows last winter. We are on Mike's Phoenix Bass Boat, and we are searching for crappie. We are fishing in the marinas today, and flipping minnows around docks looking for these tasty critters. The rig is simple, slip bobber, spilt shot, hook, minnow. The bite was not on fire today, but we managed to find some.
