In today's Karate Lesson we are learning Kata Enpi (Shotokan). Enpi (燕飛), also frequently transliterated as Empi, is a kata practiced by Shotokan and other karate styles. Enpi means Flying Swallow - Because of this dynamic form of combat, this kata resembles a swallow in flight. • Kata Enpi has always been performed at high levels of competition and to this day is one of my signature Kata.
