These horizontal bands move vertically up the screen. One obvious place flickering video happens is when you record a TV or computer monitor with a video camera and the refresh rate of the monitor is out of sync with the camera, is shown in this video. The other clip in this video was captured with an iPhone. We speculate it's coming from some interference caused by the other electronic components in the iPhone, but we're not sure about it. In both cases, Flicker Free, a flicker removal plugin, solves the problem nicely. We've also seen it happen with LED lights that may be refreshing in the same way as a computer monitor.
