Yes unfortunately Krita's text tool does sucks compared to Photoshop's type tool but that's all good. • After creating my G.Freeman Comic Art / Digital Painting redesign in Krita, • I thought I would add a title and some other text to make it more of a poster for my wall. • After trying to figure out Krita's Text Tool functions and get some better text editing features I realized this wouldn't be happening in Krita at least as easily as in Photoshop. • Because I am used to Graphic Art editing in Photoshop I thought I will see if I can save it as a psd doc and send it to photoshop to add text and help make my Artwork Pop! • Seeing that Krita has an option to save my file as a Photoshop document I thought I would make a video showing how to save your Krita Art as a psd then open it in Photoshop and start altering your Text. • I really like both of these programs for different things which is what makes using multiple software great! • Each have things that the other doesn't and I will continue to use them both but as far as Krita's Text Tool maybe for the very basics but that's it. • It's very clunky, not very user friendly or editable in a refined and smooth way like Photoshop's Type Tool functions and properties are. • My recommendation to any Artist who wants to add Text or do any form of editing for their final art piece is; use Photoshop for this! • It will save you huge amounts of time and it works very well to add drop shadows, strokes, glows and filter effects. • Time is an essence when creating your work, especially when it's for a client so utilizing each program for their best specific traits will better help you get finished professional artwork done in a proficient and effective manner. • I hope this video helps you on your creative journey's. • Please Like Subscribe to help get this video out to other Artists who will benefit from my videos and to help support the channel. • Whether they're fun showcase vids, animations, tutorials or software reviews I will try and make each one FUN and to the best of my abilities for yah'll to enjoy! • Thanks Very Much for Watching! • Keep Creatin' Stay Classy! • All Artwork is ©opyrighten by: ©Fun Labs Design Studio.
