Rebuilding a Lionel 1666 Post War Steam Engine

Join me as I rebuild this classic Lionel toy train from the late 1940's. This engine was in pieces when I purchased it at a train show many years ago. The engine was recently found in storage awaiting to be fixed. The parts of this engine were recently filmed in my Project Unboxing Video. • Many issues were found with the engine prior to recording this video. The pickup plate needed to be replaced, Headlight wire was torn off, pickups were missing, Wheels were out of sync, engine was dropped prior to my ownership, and many other cosmetic flaws. • This engine is now a working part of my collection / Post War fleet. • This engine is also a variation B circa 1946. • Find us on Facebook - / nixcrossing • Happy Railroading!
