I show how to program Toyota remote fob yourself. Works for many models of Toyota (See list below). Remote programming for Toyota Corolla or any of these applicable model years is very easy and you do not need the dealership for this. This does not increase the price you pay in any way. • Programming procedure: • 1. With driver door unlocked open; other doors closed, insert key into ignition and remove twice within 5 seconds. • 2. Within 40 seconds, close and open driver door twice, then insert key into ignition and remove the key. • 3. Again, within 40 seconds, do these in sequence: close and open driver door twice, insert key into ignition and leave it, close the drivers door, turn the key to the ON position without starting the car (dashboard lights up), turn off the ignition and remove the key • 4. The doors should lock and unlock within 3 seconds signalling programming mode is active. • 5. Within 40 seconds, press and hold the lock and unlock buttons of the remote you want to add for about 1.5 seconds. Let go of the buttons and immediately press and hold the lock button for 2 seconds. The locks should cycle once within 3 seconds, showing that the programming was successful. • NB: If the locks cycle twice, the key was not accepted. Repeat step 5. To add additional remotes repeat step 5 on the additional remote.
