Teardown video of a save energy box which is basically the same thing with lower rated capacitor, but they are good place to start to investigate whether or not these things work. • Related Video on how to build a DIY filter • DIY Dirty electricity filter • Digikey support gave me the following new part which is $16, so by the time you build the complete filter you may as well buy one of the consumer models online :( ) https://www.digikey.com/product-detai... • Update: found another capacitor for which similar version can be found on amazon and other auction sites: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07... • I have been playing around with these and they do send the DE (Dirty electricity) down the neutral which does not appear to help much of anything, but I am still researching whether there is still a benefit to using these when you cannot fix the issues by fixing AC wiring errors that also lead to DE among other things.
