Glomerulopathy = pathology of the glomerulus • Pathology of the glomerulus is suggested by albuminuria (albumin in the urine). Albumin, due to its large size, does not get filtered through a healthy glomerulus. • Glomerulonephritis (GN) is a specific form of glomerulopathy, that is, inflammatory glomerulopathy. The main clue to GN is the presence of glomerular hematuria (dysmorphic RBCs and RBC casts) +/- AKI and/or leukocyturia. • In part 2 we will discuss an approach to glomerulonephritis. • Subscribe for similar content: https://bit.ly/3kgjhdB • App with all our schemas available for purchase: https://clinicalproblemsolving.com/ip... • Subscribe to Patreon where Rabih and Reza discuss unknown cases: / cpsolvers • Visit our website for schemas: https://clinicalproblemsolving.com/
