I found my go to lightweight sleeping pad with the Trekology ALUFT Ultralight Sleeping Pad. Not only does it pack down small for the backpack, but it also is only 20oz and is inflated to a thickness of 3 inches. I am mostly a side sleeper and it helps support my sleep style. I can't highly recommend this sleeping pad enough. I didn't think I would need the dry sack air pump to pump it up but it does cut down on physically blowing into the sleeping pad seeing that is is big after it is inflated (see the video). It's the best ultralight sleeping pad I've used. If you're looking for a sleeping pad to put in your backpack or take on the road that is huge but lightweight and totally packable, this is the sleeping pad for you.
