Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph tight end Brian Kortovich announced his pledge on Tuesday afternoon. He took an official visit to Penn State over the weekend and decommitted from Purdue on Sunday evening. • “The environment was awesome!” Kortovich said of his visit. “Obviously with it being Thanksgiving weekend and the weather, the stadium wasn’t as packed as usual but it did not disappoint. • Kortovich re-emerged on the radar back in September as Nittany Lions tight end coach Ty Howle monitored his progress through his senior season.
