Most (if not all) of the degrees that are offered have high placement rates, meaning you are very likely to get a job. In other words, they refuse to give out useless degrees. Education degrees for instance, may be low/mid paying, however education grads have high demand and very low unemployment rates in the economy after graduation, and they actually work in the field they studied.
