Thanks for stopping by my kitchen! This pudding is very easy to make and economical too. As the name says, it is made with bread and butter; traditionally it would be made with left over bread and butter. Nestled between the slices of bread is dried fruit, a custard is poured over the top, and the whole pudding is then baked in the oven. Yum! • ~~ Ingredients ~~ • • 6 small slices of white bread • • 50g/2oz butter, soft enough for spreading. • • 100g/4oz dried fruit (I used a mixture of currents, raisins, and sultanas) • • 2 eggs • • 50g/2oz caster sugar • • ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract • • 250ml / ½ pint milk • ~~ Links ~~ • Instagram: / sheilaskitchenx
