I've arranged it! One of my favorite recent songs from one of my favorite stories adapted by one of my favorite directors — gasp — Koe no Katachi's main theme song, Koi wo Shita no wa: • I'm very proud to be able to release this arrangement since it's been sitting on my mind for the past 6 months. Yeah, it's been a crazy long time. The first few months of it was during my tendonitis period, in which I consumed myself in the song's various patterns and textures. Even after studying it so religiously, though, I still wasn't satisfied with anything I had arranged at the time. With my creativity exhausted, I dropped the song, not knowing how or when I would approach it again. • It wasn't until nearly two months ago that I discovered the altered custom C tuning (CGDGCE) and was finally able to lay out the foundation of the song in a playable fashion — though, as happy as I was, it was far from over. Due to the song's repetitive nature and my arrangement's unnatural chord positions (albeit better than before at this point), it was challenging to expand on any ideas I had in mind. And the unfamiliar chord progression only worsened my writing block. • Ultimately, this song was terribly difficult to arrange on the guitar. Even after I had considered it complete last week, I had to go back and rework it because it still sounded like shit. BUT, after a week's worth of re-recording and re-arranging, I can finally be proud of my accomplishment. Please, enjoy my rendition of Koi wo Shita no wa! • See you soon, • Tam • โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ• • ๐Ÿ’— PATRONS: • Izaiah Martinez, Caleb Noh, Likun Wang, Christian Deel, • Sawit Trisirisatayawong, John Nguyen, Tobias Meister, Cai'er, Siobhán Newton • Thomas Wittman, Jai Stuart, David Loo, Kent Huynh, Ignacio Correas, Garrick Chui, Rein, Philip Thomas, Frank LAOU-HAP • Thank you all for supporting me! :') • โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ• • ๐ŸŽผSHEET MUSIC: • https://www.mediafire.com/folder/4mm3... • Here's an animation on how to play measure 4's percussion part since the video doesn't show it: • http://imgur.com/a/0i0yd • The 1234 at the end means tap with all fingers. • โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ• • ๐ŸŽผCREDITS: • Lyrics translted by Thaerin Philos (http://www.lyrical-nonsense.com) • โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ• • ๐ŸŽผINFORMATION: • A Silent Voice (่ฒใฎๅฝข) soundtrack: • Koi wo Shita no wa (ๆ‹ใ‚’ใ—ใŸใฎใฏ) lit • Artist: aiko • Arrangement by: Tam Lu • Tuning: C G D G C E (Capo 1st fret) • โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ•โ• • ๐ŸŽผDISCLAIMER: • Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
