It can be used at home or at school, individually or in a group. Each short animated film about these mysterious, ancient creatures goes into detail about how they lived, what they ate, how they developed and how they were discovered. • We look at the three ages of the dinosaur era – the Triassic, which was when the first dinosaurs appeared, around 220 million years ago, the Jurassic, when the biggest land creatures roamed the earth and the Cretaceous which was around 65 million years ago, the last phase with some of the most interesting dinosaurs we know about. Also, we learn about Fossils: what they are, how they are formed and how they are dug up again. We learn about Evolution, which is how dinosaurs – and all creatures for that matter - change over time.
