**FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY** • Ready to go nostalgic? This is an orchestral cover to the theme for the NBA on CBS (1983-1990) originally composed by Emmy Award winner Allyson Bellink. This theme was famous in the 80’s helped define the rivalry between the Los Angeles Lakers the Boston Celtics during the NBA Finals. I used the 1987 Game 4 video montage to help visualize the cover as it’s being played. This is my all time favorite NBA theme (no disrespect to ‘Roundball Rock-NBA on NBC’ by John Tesh) and I really wanted to cover this magnificent piece of music. This was done all in MIDI, by EAR! I used the Abbey Road Studio 3 plugin by Waves (link below) to help my mix translate as I was using headphones. As always; comment, rate, subscribe.
