Over 20 states across the U.S. have active chapters of the national advocacy organization End Workplace Abuse. • Each chapter is engaged in supporting people who’ve experienced workplace bullying and collectively sharing their stories so no one else has to endure the unconscionable and debilitating pain. • To that end, members are connecting with legislators in their respective states to educate them about workplace abuse and the need to support and sponsor EWA’S Workplace Psychological Safety Act. The bill protects both employees and companies through utilizing an independent investigation of workplace abuse claims. Too often, employees seeking accountability are retaliated against for simply speaking up. • Michigan is very close to achieving the goal of securing a bill sponsor which we hope will influence other state legislatures across the country to present this bill that protects everyone from psychological abuse at work. 34 year-old Amanda Treppa is the Michigan and Connecticut Bill Director who’s fearlessly and courageously using her voice for #GoodTrouble.
